Hello, I’m Ryan Anderson, a qualified Counsellor and Therapist (MBACP). I offer couples counselling both in person and online. I’ll help you understand what’s happening between you , encourage you to talk more clearly, and reconnect with less conflict and more compassion.
I tailor sessions to your relationship rather than using a rigid approach. My aim is to help you understand each other better and create space for trust, empathy, and emotional closeness to grow again. I’ve supported couples through infidelity, communication difficulties, family pressures, grief, addiction, intimacy challenges, and differences in emotional or processing styles, including neurodivergence.
My sessions are calm, respectful, and balanced, giving both partners the space to express themselves and feel heard.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years in education, training, and senior leadership roles, supporting people to develop confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. This experience continues to shape how I work with couples today.
For over ten years I have taken NHS referrals alongside my private practice. I’ve also had therapy myself, so I understand how important it is to feel safe and supported when opening up. I complete ongoing CPD, follow BACP ethical guidelines, and I’m fully ICO and DBS registered.

Hello, I’m Emma, a fully qualified couples counsellor based at Relationship Counselling Kent’s West Malling practice.
I offer a warm, confidential, and inclusive space where couples can explore what is happening in their relationship and begin to make sense of it together. Whether you are experiencing ongoing conflict, emotional distance, or feeling stuck in repeated patterns, I support both partners to feel heard, respected, and understood.
My approach is integrative and recognises how deeply relationships can be shaped by past experiences, strong emotions, and the pressures of everyday life. I work with couples to gently uncover long-standing or unspoken difficulties that may still be influencing the present, sometimes without either partner fully realising it.
I understand that starting couples counselling can feel daunting, especially when discussing personal issues with someone new. I work at your pace and aim to help you feel comfortable enough to speak openly and honestly.
In every session, both partners are supported equally in a calm, balanced, and non-judgemental space.
