This is a common situation, and it can be difficult. Therapy works best when both people are open to it and we often find that once couples get started, even the more hesitant partner begins to feel more at ease. Avoiding problems tends to make them worse over time. Starting therapy often helps couples open up and reconnect, most couples say they wish they’d done it sooner. If your partner isn’t ready, you’re still welcome to come on your own. Therapy can help you gain clarity, explore your feelings, and decide what’s right for you.
