Hello, I’m Mark, an experienced relationship counsellor with a commitment to helping couples and individuals navigate the complexities of their relationships.
Since achieving my Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2013, I have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of couples through a wide range of relationship issues. My goal is to support you in fostering deeper understanding, more meaningful communication, and stronger emotional connections.
If you are looking for help in separating, I can also assist you in navigating this process with respect and understanding, ensuring a more amicable outcome for both of you.
Relationships, whether personal or professional, have a profound effect on our overall wellbeing. By carefully listening, understanding, and analysing relationship dynamics, I will create a safe and confidential space for you to explore how you communicate and relate to one another. My goal is to help you build stronger connections, promoting peace and harmony in their relationships. If that is what you are hoping to achieve.
I will help you reflect on behaviour patterns and interactions, offering feedback that encourages self-awareness and growth. Through self-reflection, you will become more conscious of how you think and act, leading to more positive outcomes in your relationship.
Using relatable examples and analogies, I will guide you both in understanding how your words and actions impact the other. I also help you express your views in ways that foster understanding and minimise hurt, frustration, or offence. Additionally, I assist couples in recognising the external influences that shape their perceptions of what a relationship should or shouldn’t be.
I have held a professsional membership The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society since 2013 and practice in accordance with their ethical guidelines.
I welcome couples and individals from all walks of life, including diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations, and ethnicities.
As a man, in my sixties, who has been married for over 35 years and the Father of two adult children, I have personal experience of the challenges that occur, within relationships.
Prior to my work in psychotherapy, I worked in the corporate world in various industries, with both sales and training management roles, including Catering, the Motor industry and the Commercial Interiors industry. My corporate work experience, with all its challenges and objectives has provided me with a wide knowledge of people’s differing thoughts, feelings and behaviours, enabling me to help people with the challenges that they face.
