Relationship Counselling Dartford

My name is Kobe and I’m an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor specialising in relationship therapy for couples and individuals. I offer a safe, supportive and confidential space for you to explore your unique issues in order to find a path forward. Imhave a MSc Psychology, a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Professional Certificate in Relationship Counselling.

Perhaps you and your partner struggling to communicate effectively, or maybe you are caught in a cycle of misunderstanding, hurt and resentment. If so, you’re not alone. Relationship challenges are incredibly common. However, they don’t have to define or destroy your bond or emotional well-being.

I certainly don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I will empower you as a unit to achieve your relationship goals. Whether that’s reigniting a lost spark between you, resolving long-standing conflicts or help in separating more amicably.  Or perhaps you are looking for clarity on the direction you would like your relationship to take.

During couple therapy sessions I use the ‘Person-Centred Approach’. which means, my focus is on the care and needs of you as individuals, as well as part of a couple. I’ll help you both rediscover the art of effective communication. We may well delve into your past experiences and life events, which might be a contributory factor to the disconnect. Hopefully, this will foster greater understanding and empathy between you.

In my opionion. effective communication is the cornerstone of all healthy relationships. Therefore, we will work together to help you develop the skills to express yourself clearly, listen deeply, and navigate even the toughest conversations with compassion and respect.
