About Victoria
Hello, my name is Victoria Greenwood.
I understand it takes courage to reach out when your relationship is struggling. Many couples feel stuck in communication difficulties, disconnection, or ongoing tension. You have found a safe and supportive space here.
I offer a calm, respectful environment where you will feel heard. I’ll work collaboratively with you to understand what is happening in your relationship and what needs to change.
My approach is integrative, combining psychodynamic understanding with relationship-focused techniques and principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy. Together, we explore patterns, improve communication, and build a stronger emotional connection.
I support couples with communication problems, trust and infidelity, intimacy concerns, and pressures such as parenting and finances. I also offer support to help separation and divorce more amicable

Background & Experience
I am an intergrative counsellor working with individuals and couples. I hold a Diploma in Professional Counselling and have extensive professional development in relationship therapy. I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and a student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) My practice focuses on supporting couples and individuals to build clearer connection and healthier partnership dynamics.
Before I was a counsellor my background includes extensive experience of working within addiction and mental health services, in prisons, community rehabilitation programmes and treatment services. I have worked with a lot of trauma in my career and I have an additional qualification in trauma making my practice trauma informed. I am a mum and I bring my lived experience of neurodiversity into the way I work with clients from all different backgrounds.
I also have experience of working within the family and criminal court systems, which has given me a broad understanding of the pressures that can affect and breakdown relationships. These experiences inform a pragmatic and compassionate approach to complex relationship issues.
My approach is calm, empathic and focused on your relationship. I bring all of my experience to help partners recognise unhelpful patterns, communicate more effectively and resolve conflict. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where both partners can be heard and understood.
