Hello, I’m Ryan Anderson, a qualified Counsellor and Therapist (MBACP). I specialise in helping couples who feel stuck or disconnected find clarity, understanding, and a more supportive way forward.
Whether you’re struggling with repeated arguments, uncertainty about your future together, or difficulty expressing your needs, I’ll guide you through these challenges in a calm and balanced way.
My style is warm, structured, and tailored to your relationship. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches so the work fits your specific needs, rather than expecting you to fit a model. I focus on helping you understand each other more deeply, reduce frustration, and rebuild closeness in a way that feels steady and respectful.
I have experience supporting couples through infidelity, family pressures, grief, and addiction. I also help partners navigate challenges around intimacy, porn use, kink, and fetish in a safe and non-judgemental way.
I work confidently with neurodivergent couples who have different emotional or communication styles. My aim is to create a space where both of you feel heard, understood, and supported as you move forward.
I have regular CPD, follow BACP ethical guidelines, and I’m fully DBS and ICO registered.

Background & Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years in education, training, and senior leadership roles, supporting people to develop confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. This experience continues to shape how I work with couples today.
For over ten years I have taken NHS referrals alongside my private practice. I’ve also had therapy myself, so I understand how important it is to feel safe and supported when opening up.
