    About Jackie

Hello and welcome. My name is Jackie and I'm based at Relationship Counselling Kent’s Chatham practice. I hold a CPCAB Level 5 diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am an accredited registered member of the BACP.

As a person-centred therapist, I encourage you both to bring your concerns to sessions. While the counselling is led by you, I play an active role in opening up conversations, helping you bridge gaps, and better understand each other’s perspective.

Many couples come to me feeling they’ve drifted apart, lost their spark, or become stuck in conflict. By the time they reach out, resentment often runs beneath the surface. Therapy offers a neutral, supportive space where you can pause, feel heard, and begin to reconnect.

On our first session I’ll ask what you hope to achieve, whether that’s improving your relationship, separating more amicably, or simply gaining clarity. Whatever your goal, I’ll provide a welcoming, calm, safe and inclusive space where you can talk openly, listen without judgement, and explore the way forward together.

    Meet Jackie

    Background & Experience

I have supported couples and individuals with a wide range of relationship challenges, from communication breakdowns and loss of intimacy to resentment and ongoing conflict. I work with couples at different stages of their journey, those wanting to reconnect, those unsure about the future, and those looking for support to separate more respectfully.

My practice is rooted in a person-centred approach, incorporating all my additional training to create a structured session using key tools and techniques to be used both inside and outside the session to support couples of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations, creating a safe, inclusive, and confidential environment where both partners feel equally valued and understood.

    How I Can Help

I'll provide a safe and neutral space where you can both articulate your feelings freely and feel genuinely heard.

I will help you cultivate active listening and empathy, helping you gain a profound understanding of each other's perspectives and needs.

Together, we'll gently unravel any unhelpful behavioural patterns and explore how past experiences might be influencing your present relationship dynamics.

I'll equip you with practical, evidence-based tools and strategies to enhance communication, manage conflict, and rebuild intimacy.

We will work together to clarify your path forward, whether that involves rekindling your connection and rebuilding as a couple or navigating separation with mutual respect and understanding.
